They are personal portable computer for mobile use, which can be operated on the lap. They usually look like a notebook and have a flip design for protecting the screen and keyboard after use. The various types of laptops are Budget (for basic home and office work), Workhorse (they have in built webcam and sound system), Tablet type (incorporated with handwriting reorganization software), Ultra portable (consist of Linux operating system sometime and shrinking keyboard and screen).
